A flock of flamingo’s taking flight from the base of Laka Magadi. This alkaline soda lake in the south of Kenya is home to tens of thousands of them. Minerals and algae are giving this body of water the most mind-blowing colour patterns. Whereas in this particular section, soda streams are dyeing the water to a vivid pink colour, a few kilometres further down the shades change to greens, blues or browns. A true paradise, pristine wilderness in its purest form.
