I could not be more stoked to share that my image ‘The Long Wait’ has been awarded as the Grand Winner of the 2025 edition of The Greatest Wildlife Photographer Kenya
Over the last months, I’ve received countless requests to make this image available as print, and winning the Grand Prize in this competition felt like the right moment to do so.
For a window of 1 Month only, till December 31, this image will be available for sale. After that, it will sell never again.
HELP ME MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
If you know my work well, you know how much I care about giving back. For each print being sold, I will donate 10% of the net proceeds to Big Life Foundation.
Without their important work of safeguarding wildlife and people in the greater Amboseli Tsavo ecosystem, elephants wouldn't be where they are today.
This means that by purchasing my work, YOU are making a difference!
Pie Aerts is a photographer based in Amsterdam. His work examines and questions the intricate and often melancholic relationship between people and place in an attempt to explore why we seem increasingly disconnected from each other, ourselves, and our natural environment. By a research-led exploration of stereotypes, he offers nuanced and personal perspectives on culture, tradition and human relationships. In doing so, he chooses hope over despair, and coexistence over conflict.
Pie firmly believes that art has the power to console, heal, and restore our lost connections. Putting this belief into practice, he founded Prints for Wildlife, a fundraising platform that unites over 375+ photographers from around the world to sell art in support of conservation.
Since its inception in 2020, the platform has generated $2.5 million, all of which has been donated to the African Parks Network to support African communities and wildlife.
How long will my print take to arrive?
Please allow up to 4 weeks for your order to be dispatched, however, the majority of orders will be dispatched within a few days. You will receive tracking information the moment your order is dispatched.

For the UK, EU, and the rest of the world (ROW), items up to 42cm on the long edge (A3 size) are sent flat in an envelope, while anything larger is shipped rolled in a tube.

Are the prints archivable?
My fine art prints are designed to last, and are only printed on archival fine art papers using processes that maintain the details of my work. You will not be disappointed, the print is breathtaking and holds the highest details that are contained in the image.
What's the policy on return?
My work is made to order, so we cannot accept returns. However if your print is damaged in transit, or in the very unlikely event that it arrives with a defect, we will replace it.
What if my print gets damaged in transit?
If a print gets damaged in transit we will replace it. We will ask for some images or video of the damage so we can supply this to the shipping service to cover the insurance.

Until midnight on 31st December 2025 or until the entire edition is sold out, whichever is the sooner. I don’t know if or when these artworks will be available again.
